Theoretical Archaeology Group 2010 is a conference to explore and debate the implications of theoretical issues for archaeological practice and interpretation, worldwide.  TAG-US 2010, ‘The Location of Theory’, is the third annual meeting of the Theoretical Archaeological Group in North America, and will be held at Brown University in Providence, Rhode Island beginning Friday, April 30th.  We invite all to attend.

TAG-US 2010 opens on Friday with a Plenary Session featuring Homi Bhabha, in conversation with Alejandro Haber, Yannis Hamilakis, and Uzma Rizvi, moderated by Nick Shepherd. Sessions will meet Saturday and Sunday (5/1-2), with performances, screenings, and exhibitions throughout  the weekend.  The full session list and schedule are now available on our website, at http://proteus.brown.edu/tag2010/8027 .  

TAG-US 2010 is open to all, though registration is required.  Registration is FREE for all Brown students, faculty, and staff until APRIL 15th.  The cost of registration for non-Brown attendees is now $80.00 for professionals and $50.00 for students.  These costs will increase by $25.00 each on April 15th.  For information on registration, please visit http://proteus.brown.edu/tag2010/6956 .
