Cape Verdean exhibit at Fuller Craft Museum

Stonehill Exhibition

opens april 24 in the community gallery

A collaborative class at Stonehill College is working with the Cape Verdean Association and Seniors Center and creating a community art project that will be on display at Fuller Craft and at Stonehill. The main topic of the project is Identity.

On display at Fuller Craft will be shadowboxes that Cape Verdean seniors and other community members have created in order to portray how they define themselves as individuals. The students have also gathered some oral histories and will be incorporating that information into the installation.

The exhibition runs from April 24 through May 26.
