Volunteer at the Haffenreffer Museum

Volunteer at the Haffenreffer Museum of Anthropology.  Join us for fun school programs and public events by becoming a volunteer.

Outreach volunteers will work with museum educators on school outreach programs through our Culture CaraVan based out of Giddings House.  You will help prepare for the programs and go on site visits with staff.  An orientation session for CaraVan volunteers will be held on Tuesday, September 29, 5:30 p.m. at Giddings 212

We also need help with our public programs and events held on campus.  We host guest lecturers and also run family-friendly events.  Event volunteers help us with a variety of activities from setting up an event to helping kids with projects.

Becoming a museum volunteer is a great experience for those who like working with children and other members of the public, have an interest in anthropology and culture, and want to know more about museums and museum work.

If you would like to sign up to be an outreach or event volunteer, please contact Geralyn at 401-253-8388 or at Geralyn_Hoffman@brown.edu
