Friday, 10/26, 5-7pm : SALON - Matthew Lawrence, creator of the
multidisciplinary installation The Library Show and Anna Shapiro, Director
of Firehouse 13, site of the show. In response to Providence Public
Library's ongoing crisis, Matthew created The Library Show, converting
artists' space Firehouse 13 into a guerilla library branch for a month,
featuring books, movies, discussions, music, and many events. Join us to
talk about libraries past, present, and future, and to hear about the
experiences of Firehouse 13's brief life as a library. More:
