CultureLab Fellowship in Arts Management (San Francisco)

CultureLab is an international consortium of 10 professional arts consultants in the U.S., U.K., and Australia. CultureLab's members have coalesced around the common goals of breaking down the silos of research, policy, and practice, and propelling the cultural sector towards innovative solutions to difficult problems. We also aim to enrich each other's work and to build a new and better approach to sharing knowledge amongst researchers, students, funders, and practitioners.

For three months in San Francisco and three months in New York City, the Fellow will divide his/her responsibility evenly between CultureLab and consulting work assigned by the host consultant (i.e., WolfBrown and Webb Management Services). CultureLab work tasks will include:

  • Supporting committee work
  • Coordinating logistics and planning an agenda for a convening of CultureLab in 2014
  • Finding, reading, and archiving various papers, reports, and other knowledge in an online library
  • Assist in planning and developing the library, and help to establish library partnerships with funder, agencies and academic programs
  • Assist in designing global opportunities for students in culture-related academic programs to interact with professional arts consultants and researchers
  • Working with CultureLab members to design and promote collaborative consulting services

NOTES:
Additional Salary Information: payable as a monthly $2500 stipend.
