Dear students,
The Haffenreffer Museum is in need of volunteers to help with our educational outreach programs and public events. Please see the attached flyer for more information about these opportunities.
We are especially in need of volunteers during Parent's Weekend for a four-day event entitled Celebrating El Dia de los Muertos from October 23 through October 26 in Manning Hall. This event will feature artist Paula Garcia Ventura of Mexico City who will create a 5.9 foot tall calavera Catrina. We will also have an area for students and their families to make their own ofrendas, papel picados, and calavera masks. We need volunteers to assist the artist and assist in the family corner. I would like volunteers to commit to at least one two-hour shift. Please contact me for more details.
