Join Providence's Department of Art, Culture + Tourism, RI Citizens for the Arts, Rhode Island Council for the Humanities
and Rhode Island State Council on the Arts (RISCA) at October's Pecha Kucha. This special Pecha Kucha, in honor of National
Arts & Humanities Month, will include presentations from our creative community.

What's Pecha Kucha?
Devised in Tokyo in February 2003 as an event for young designers to meet, network, and show their work in public.
Drawing its name from the Japanese term for the sound of "chit chat", it rests on a presentation format that
is based on a simple idea: 20 images x 20 seconds.
National Arts and Humanities Month is a coast-to-coast celebration of culture in America
held every October and coordinated by Americans for the Arts.
