Emerald Cities Providence seeks applications for the position of Project Development Director.
Emerald Cities Collaborative (www.emeraldcities.org) is a national non-profit network of organizations working together to advance a sustainable environment while creating economic opportunities for all. Providence is one of the ten cities across the nation selected and designated by Emerald Cities Collaborative to implement the model of sustainable developments with positive environmental, economic and equity impacts. Our initiative, Emerald Cities Providence (ECP), is the structure for these developments to occur locally.
Emerald Cities Providence is guided by a Steering Committee, which currently consists of 16 members including representative of civic, business, government, community, labor, and education arenas. The Steering Committee, convened and managed by Building Futures, and has now completed a local planning process. In the coming year, we anticipate that our membership will expand as the needs of the initiative grow. As part of this expansion and implementation, we are seeking to hire a Project Development Director.
The ECP Project Development Director will be responsible for developing and implementing sustainable building projects in accordance with the operation model above and is a senior-level position.
