As a developer, architectural and urban designer, Russell Preston strives to
improve our built and natural environment. His work has focused on the
redevelopment of cities and the repair of suburb sprawl throughout the
country. In the context of green building, mobility, food production and the
concerns of climate change, he will share with us his recent research on
building sustainable communities with highlights from his work on downtown
Providence. As the youngest board member for the Congress of the New
Urbanism and a LEED accredited professional, Russell is at the forefront of
current thinking on city building and urbanism. Join us for a discussion on
Living Urbanism.
