Museum Education Roundtable Online

Happening next week!
Bring a bag lunch and join us for presentations and conversations inspired by the Spring 2010 issue of the Journal of Museum Education - Museum Education and Public Value: New Strategies and Ideas.

The first half of the forum will feature presentations from practitioners in the field framed by our keynote speaker.

During the second half of the forum, Tina Nolan, Interim Editor-in-Chief of the JME, will lead lively roundtable discussions about how we can put these ideas into practice in our own institutions.

Keynote:
Helen Wechsler of the IMLS

Practitioners:

  • Carol Wilson, Smithsonian American Art Museum
  • Barbara McCormack, Newseum
  • Jamee Telford, National Building Museum
  • Emily Blumenthal, Walters Art Gallery

After the program enjoy a special tour of the highlights of the renowned international contemporary World Bank art collection!
