Request for Proposals: Consultant Services for Cultural Asset Inventory and Creative Placemaking Planning
The City of Providence is seeking a consultant to work with the Department of Art, Culture + Tourism and the Department of Planning and Development to develop strategies to co-locate arts and cultural amenities with housing and job opportunities at key nodes along five of the City's highest use transit corridors--Broad Street, North Main Street, Elmwood Avenue, Chalkstone Avenue, and Manton Avenue.
The selected consultant will document existing arts and cultural opportunities, develop interpretive "themes" for each of the five study corridors, and develop strategies to integrate arts and culture at key nodes along the corridors.
Proposals must be received by 2:15 PM on April 23, 2012. The full Request for Proposals is available here.
