Black Lavender at the John Hay Library
You are invited to attend the opening of a RICH funded landmark event in celebration of Black Gay Men in Rhode Island. Please join us for an extraordinary exhibit of portraits of gay men of African descent who have made a difference in our state. "Black Lavender," which includes a reception and talk by Dr. Daniel Scott of RIC, is Thursday, November 5th, 5:30pm at the John Hay Library, Brown University, 20 Prospect Street in Providence. A booklet of essays by Dr. Scott and Dr. Julius Sokenu will be available at that time. The event is free and open to the public. Please pass the word on to your friends and colleagues.
