The Material Worlds Working Group at Brown has organized a series of events that promise to explore interdisciplinary challenges and potential of the philosophical, theoretical and methodological approaches that arise from the study of all things material. A diverse field of scholars from across the Brown community and other institutions have come together to untangle this issues through such topics as Audubon’s prints, 19th century shovels, and the paper trail of the Egyptian organ trade.
