 Visit our Partners - American Independence Museum, Exeter, New Hampshire Discover the stories behind America's revolutionary past and how they relate to your experiences today by visiting the American Independence Museum. Located in historic Exeter, the museum tells the story that one state, one town, and one family made in the founding of our nation. The museum campus includes the Ladd-Gilman House (c. 1721), a National Historic Landmark that was home to a signer of the U.S. Constitution, a Governor's mansion, and the site of the NH State Treasury, as well as the newly restored Folsom Tavern(c. 1775), a site for political discourse during the Revolution. The museum shop features books, gifts, decorative items, and educational toys.

Visit our Partners - Danforth Museum of Art, Framingham, Mass. Focusing on American art from the eighteenth century to present day, the Danforth Museum of Art is dedicated to showing the very best examples of contemporary art by both emerging and established artists, as well as an exploration of the School of Boston Expressionism. This year the Danforth Museum of Art is celebrating its thirty-fifth anniversary. Starting on June 12, see the Annual Members' Juried Exhibition Off the Wall & Community of Artists, which featuring some of the best work of regional artists, both emerging and established. This year's exhibition is juried by Helen Molesworth of the Insitute of Contemporary Art/Boston and Jen Mergel of the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston. |
Visit our Partners - Harriet Beecher Stowe Center, Hartford, Conn. A visit to the Stowe Center begins with the Harriet Beecher Stowe House, a charming Victorian Gothic Revival home (1871), and includes Victorian-style gardens, the Katharine Seymour Day House (1884), a grand mansion adjacent to the Stowe House, and the Stowe Visitor Center (1873), with changing exhibitions and the museum store.
The Harriet Beecher Stowe Center is on the Connecticut Freedom Trail and the Connecticut Women's Heritage Trail and the gardens are part of Connecticut's Historic Gardens.

Visit our Partners - Hildene, The Lincoln Family Home, Manchester, Vermont The summer season at Hildene kicks off with the Celebration of Peonies, the name given to the weeks from mid-May through much of June when the garden is awash with the fragrance and beauty of more than 1,000 heirloom peony blooms, most purchased from Paris, France more than a century ago. Jessie, President Lincoln's granddaughter, designed the formal garden as a gift to her mother in 1907. An American version of the French parterre, it is designed to resemble a stained glass window, with the privets the lead and the flowers the decorative glass. Among the approximately twenty varieties of peonies, this year's guests will see the Jessie Lincoln and Hildene, two heirloom peonies recently named by the prestigious American Peony Society as newly discovered cultivars. |

Visit our Partners - International Tennis Hall of Fame, Newport, Rhode Island Visitors to the International Tennis Hall of Fame & Museum are treated to a fascinating and interactive look at the history of the game through a diverse collection of memorabilia, fashion, and art. Items on display range from vintage tennis equipment and Victorian dresses to modern athletic fashions such as outfits worn by Serena Williams and Roger Federer. Galleries also include video highlights of great matches. The Museum is set in the Newport Casino, which was designed by the American architectural firm of McKim, Mead & White in 1880 and was originally used as a social club for Newport's rich and famous summer residents. Today, the impeccably preserved structure and its surrounding thirteen grass courts is a National Historic Landmark and one of Newport's premier architectural treasures.
In celebration of the building's 130th anniversary, the International Tennis Hall of Fame & Museum proudly presents The Casino: Newport's Playground 1880 - 1954, a special exhibit chronicling the founding of the Newport Casino, early tennis in Newport, the social history of the property, and the Casino Theatre. The exhibit features a number of unique artifacts including original stock certificates to the building, diaries from the superintendent, and programs from theatre shows and tennis tournaments.

Inn at Woodstock Hill | Registration is now open to all members for the Members' Weekend Trip to Roseland Cottage and Connecticut's "Quiet Corner," taking place Friday, August 6 through Sunday, August 8. During the trip, we will learn about Woodstock's prominent Bowen family, drive scenic Route 169, meet the farmer operators of local farms--and taste the bounty of their summer harvest. This one-of-a-kind trip is only available through Historic New England. The trip fee is $420 per person based on double occupance and $549 for single occupancy.
