Remarkable/outstanding poet Naomi Shihab Nye is coming to Providence on Thursday, March 11, 2010 at 7:00 pm - Moses Brown, Alumni Hall, free and open to all.
I heard Naomi back in November 2008 in Washington, D.C., and she literally changed my life. It was her words that inspired our RAISE YOUR VOICE: Examining Culture, Clash, Community and Change project (funded by RICH), and then Moses Brown really helped by hosting Naomi's visit.
